Cultural understanding and competence are vital for working effectively in a world of diversity, globalization, and rapid change—in professions of medicine, health care, education, business, law enforcement, government, social services, and more.
CWU’s new Applied Cultural Competencies Certificate, a collaboration between the anthropology department and seven departments across three colleges, prepares professionals and community members to live and work in multi-cultural social and professional roles.
