Wildcat Rocket Team
Support CWU Wildcat Rocket Club students
The Wildcat Rocket Club gives CWU students the opportunity to build and launch high-powered model rockets. In October 2021, NASA selected CWU as one of 60 selected teams to compete in the 2022 NASA Student Launch Competition. The team must design and build a rocket that will fly to a specified altitude between 4,000 and 6,000 feet, land inside a circle with a radius of 2,500 feet, and communicate its landing position to the launch base (autonomously)!
The team is seeking $10,000 in support to send ten students and several mentors to the NASA Launch Week in Huntsville, AL.
