The geosciences at CWU have a long tradition of providing students with authentic learning experiences, in part through field-based courses. These critical courses are also expensive and include substantial course fees. Help us reduce these fees by adopting a rock in the Discovery Hall Rock Garden to donate to our field course fund. Donors will be listed on our interactive rock garden web page geology.cwu.edu/discovery-rockgarden.
Our goal is to cut field course fees in half for all students by raising $50,000. Donations of any amount are welcome, and we suggest: $20 Gneiss boulder, $50 Sandstone bench, $100 Basalt column, $200 Choose your favorite boulder, or $500 Granite obelisk.
